Sister pub Car Craft put on... Sister pub Car Craft put on the LS engine swap challenge. To win, it required two separate teams to pull their running mill out, drop in the LS, and drive on a predetermined route. This year’s winners included a crew from the School of Automotive Machinists who handled the conversion in just 38:33. Congratulations to Logun Smolik, Matt Grissom, Ahmad Hudson, and Justin Beard with team leader Chris Bennett. Carey Decker’s ’70 Chevelle... Carey Decker’s ’70 Chevelle was one of the nicest A-bodies on site. Underhood is the requisite LS powerplant, only this one features a ProCharger P1-SC supercharger that helps to produce a healthy 560 hp and deep 12-second passes at 117 mph. Stay tuned, we have a full feature coming on this one, too. Talk about a nail biter, from... Great race guys and we hope to see you both again next year! For anyone who wants to compete, email us at chevyhi@sorc.com and we’ll save you a spot. This year’s CHP Show-N-Shine...
