Currently, Chris drives the car at least once a week, taking his wife Joni and his year-old son Chase to places like the South Bay Ruby's Cruise or the Long Beach Swap Meet. "I can't wait for Chase to be old enough so he can enjoy the car as well." There's one of the new generation we can be assured will carry on the Chevy torch!
Luckily, with the money that goes into making such a car, Chris has a pretty good support group. After all, how good a friend do you have to be to drive 1,000 miles with an engine in the back seat? Of course, the group also includes his understanding wife: "I really need to thank her for putting up with me."
And everyone who sees the car thanks you for letting him build it, too.
