'63 chevy II Nova
george rubistello
Lake Peekskill, NY
With a lightweight Chevy II body and a heavy-hitting Rat motor, George Rubistello has one fast-traveling ride. The full-tube chassis car features a highly modified 427ci big-block with a Holley 750-cfm Dominator, a single-plane intake, an NOS system, a Lunati camshaft, ported heads, and billet connecting rods. To spin the power, George added a TH400 that connects to a 4.10:1-cogged 9-inch rearend. Four-wheel disc brakes slow the Chevy down.
Clean & Mean
'67 Malibu
trevor Mccavitt
Phoenix, AZ
This clean '67 Malibu features a 350-crate motor, a TH350 automatic, and an assortment of performance parts. Undoubtedly, Trevor has assembled a hard-performing and cherry-looking weekend cruiser. To liven up the party, he fitted the small-block with a flamed air cleaner, braided hoses, yellow wire looms, and a 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust. Rolling stock comprises a set of Rally wheels fitted with BFGs. Due to the stock four-wheel drum arrangement offering one too many close calls, Trevor swapped in a full set of Baer four-wheel discs to shorten the Malibu's stopping distances.
