Wheels, Tires & Brakes
The Wilwood spindles and brakes hold down the horsepower while the polished chrome 17-inch Torq-Thrust IIs plant the Michelin rubber to the road. Up front is a set of P235R45-17 meats and those are P245R50-17s out back.
Body
Rick's First Gen outfitted Joe's Camaro with new fenders and quarter-panels. From there, the car went to Tim's Custom in Newport News, Virginia, to get sprayed with a House of Kolors three-stage paint job. First the silver base was laid, followed with a hint of Pearl, and finished with a mouth-watering Candy Apple Red.
Inside
When Joe mashes the throttle, he sinks nicely into the stock, black leather houndstooth seats. Autometer Ultra-Lite white-face gauges stare back at him, providing all the vitals, and the Rockford Fosgate P3001 punch, amps, and speakers make for killer tunes on those long road trips. Joe's Camaro is obviously very cool, but Joe's friend Rick Grubb's help made it even cooler by installing the Vintage Air A/C.
Chassis
To beef up the suspension, Joe added a 1-inch sway bar up front and a 71/48-inch sway bar on the rear. The QA-1 shocks in the front and rear help cushion the bumps. CHP
