Super Camaro
'01 Camaro SS
Keith Mcconnell
Hanover, MD
Keith McConnell loves the performance his '01 Camaro SS delivers, especially since he's added a number of modifications. The factory-installed LS1 engine's power was improved with a better-flowing SLP airbox lid and a Flowmaster exhaust system. Next Keith firmed up the unibody and suspension with subframe connectors, a strut tower brace, and BMR lowering springs. The trick-looking C6 Motorsports wheels are wrapped with Dunlop P275/35R18 tires. The outer hue is called Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic, and up front are Black Diamond Halo Lights with blacked-out turn-signal housings.
The Family Car
'68 Camaro SS
Andrew Sharpe
Lavalette, WV
Andrew Sharpe's better half, Rhonda, found the clean '68 Camaro seen here. After a 1,300-mile flight with his father-in-law, Ron, the guys drove the car back home. All it took was 130 gallons of 93-octane through a 12-gallon fuel cell and 24 hours of seat time. Since then, Andrew's updated the powerplant with a hot 383 with a set of AFR heads, a Comp Cams hydraulic-roller camshaft, and a Flowmaster exhaust system.
