After Paul Kennedy purchased this 30,000-mile, one-owner A-body in 1996 he quickly pulled out the mundane V-6 and added a healthy 355 small-block with a Crane valvetrain, Hedman headers, and Edelbrock carb and intake items. With the stock (and very rare) '79 Malibu clutch linkage in place, Paul added a five-speed manual trans garnered from an abandoned '91 Firebird. With the work complete he sold the car and then regretted it for five years. In '04 he was surveying the classifieds and found a familiar-looking car. Today the Kennedys are both the second and fourth owners of this mint-blue Malibu.
