Richard Bay loves the hot Arizona desert and the hot performance of his '65 Malibu SS. The deep blue Chevelle's motivation comes from a GM crate 502/502 Rat motor that includes an Edelbrock EFI unit, an MSD ignition, Comp Cams roller rockers, and a set of Hooker headers. A Hurst-shifted 700-4R overdrive automatic trans and 2,800-stall converter spin the 3.73:1 12-bolt gears, while stopping drills are completed with a SSBC front disc and rear drum system. The 15x6 and 15x8.5 Center Line wheels are wrapped with MT rubber.

Way up in the Yukon, the long and cold days give Ricky and his dad, Gordon Schmok, plenty of time to work on their second-gen F-body. After the original 350 blew a rod, they added a 330-horse 350 crate engine, a Holley 650 carb, an Edelbrock Performer intake, and an MSD ignition. The suspension has been improved with KYB shocks, bigger front and rear sway bars, urethane bushings, and Competition Engineering weld-in frame connectors. Rolling stock of choice is a set of Cragar Drag Stars.
