Is it a car or is it a truck? Who cares, because this thing's got a GM 9.6:1 502 big-block. Joe made sure to hook it up with an 850-cfm Holley carburetor along with a set of Hooker Super Comp headers and a complete Flowmaster exhaust. The 700-R4s got a 10-inch, 2,500-stall converter, forcing the power through a 3.55:1 posi. Joe's choice of suspension is a complete Hotchkis system with front tubular control arms, front and rear sway bars, and QA-1 coilovers. To make sure it all gets down the track for those 12.20 at 112 mph e.t.'s, he added P245/40R16s up front with monster P315/35R17 rubber out back. Even though Joe's the third owner, the El Camino is still an all-original SS with tilt, cruise, and air.

'01 CAMARO Z28

Michael's '01 Z28 Camaro has got all the bolt-ons. The factory LS1 is already stout, so he installed a K&N filter system and quickly followed it up with a pair of PaceSetter long-tube headers, a PaceSetter Y-pipe, SLP high-flow cats, and a 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust. Supplying plenty of juice are MSD wires with NGK iridium spark plugs. Extracting all the power from his DiabloSport Predator tuner are 17-inch Eagles on Falken tires, while the Hotchkis suspension helps to get through the corners.
At 15, Ryan's got a jump on us all. No license yet and already he's got a sweet '67 Camaro project. Although the 327ci small-block and Powerglide transmission are stock, he's scribing out the bigger Mouse and the carbureted blow-through turbo system he's looking to drop in. It's already been mini-tubbed with P275/60R15 M/T ET Street Radials mounted on Weld Draglite15x10s out back, and steering the ride is a pair of skinnies rolling on P165/ 80R15s. Don't expect any flashy spray-bomb jobs on this musclecar, as Ryan is adamant that you can expect nothing more than flat black.
'70 MONTE CARLO
Who doesn't like the classic appeal of the '70 Monte Carlo--but this Monte isn't stock. This 0.060-overbored 9.0:1 four-bolt main big-block has aluminum GM E-port heads, an LS-6 intake manifold, and an 850 blow-through carburetor. For the internals, the Monte's got LS-6 rods and a 5140 balanced crank with a Crane roller valvetrain. To top it off, a 125-shot of nitrous was added, and an ATI centrifugal blower too! I'm jealous.
