Darren, Jennifer & Emmeline Miller
Kenosha, WI
It may look stock, but trust us-it's not by any stretch. Darren yanked the original 327ci out in favor of a built 360ci small-block with four-bolt mains. Inside, Lunati pistons fill the bores with 6-inch rods. Up top an Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap handles the induction. Power to date: 488 hp and 464 lb-ft. A 700-R4 transmission takes the abuse and spins to a Currie 9-inch with a Detroit Truetrac with 4.11:1 gears inside. For the stance? Two-inch drop spindles take up the gap to fill the wheelwells with 17-inch American Racing Salt Flat rims.
One Of The Few
'01 Camaro
David Wener
Fullerton, CA
Just another Camaro, right? Wrong-this one is a rare LS1 Camaro built by Granatelli Motor Sports in 2001 and it's No. 1 of 3. Originally built for the owner of the Matco Franchise, it has since been sold to David, who picked it up in 2006 with only 9,700 miles on the odometer. GMS loaded this one up with its own springs, front control arms, subframe connectors, a Panhard bar, a tower, and braces. With Magnaflows, David says this setup is good for 328 hp and 314 lb-ft.
Super Camino
'80 EL Camino
Gary Steinberger
Rubicon, WI
No, you probably couldn't put this Elco through normal truck duties-but who cares? Gary's got a blown and injected small-block with a 250-shot fogger system to play with. He's also got more goodies under the hood, including an MSD ignition, Hooker headers, and a March serpentine beltdrive system. A Moser with 3.90:1 gears and a Detroit Locker finish the rear. To help fight twist, Gary added 2-inch drop spindles, Prothane bushings, and a Competition Engineering four-link out back.
