It all started when Corey Whitaker was 14 years old, driving the Camaro up and down the driveway, and the itch has stuck with him ever since. The 327 small-block generates 400 hp, and Whitaker keeps it old-school with a rock-crushing Muncie four-speed and a posi rearend with 3.73s. Cragar rims fill the wheelwells front and back. If you are in the Louisville area, he'll be eating up the backroads, so watch out.

The second-gen Camaro craze is global. Take for example Brett Allan's deep-dish sled from South Africa. Its 383 serves plenty of power with 6-inch rods, a hydraulic roller cam and lifters, and a set of iron camel-hump heads. Allan estimates around 500 hp for the street, which is just enough to keep him out of trouble. A modified independent rearend lifted from a Jaguar serves as home for the deep Rushforth Smoked Titanium Super Spoke 19x10s with P295/30R19s out back and 19x8s with P245/35R19s up front to match.
