While some say these later-model Camaros aren't as appreciated as the earlier generation, the Gipson husband and wife team disagrees, and we're right there with them. This second-owner LT only has 36,000 original miles on the clock with the original air conditioning system and still sports the PPG GM code-matched Dark Blue Metallic. Under the hood is a 350ci small-block with an Edelbrock intake, spacer, and 600-cfm carburetor. The Saginaw four-speed has a Hays 11-inch street/strip clutch, while out back is a 3.08:1 limited slip. Rollers of choice are 16x7 American Racing Hopsters with P245/50ZR16 Sumitmos on all four corners.

Constantine Giannakos wasn't about to let a battle with stomach cancer prevent him from getting his convertible completed. During the three-year build he dropped in a World Motown small-block that was stroked to 406 inches, using an Eagle crank and rods with JE flat-top pistons. A Comp Cams bumpstick and a pair of AFR 195 cylinder heads with a Weiand Team G manifold handle the breathing. He relies on an Art Carr Turbo 400 transmission for shifting. The convertible rides on a complete SSBC disc brake setup and rolls on a combination of Hotchkis and Global West suspension on Toyo tires all around.

After searching for a second-gen, Randy found the perfect canvas to begin his project. The Camaro shown here had been sitting since 1982. Randy immediately went to work by replacing the electrical with a new Painless Wiring kit. He also replaced the bushings and suspension with 2-inch drop springs and Competition Engineering three-way adjustable shocks. Randy rebuilt the donor 350ci and added a Lunati 'stick with Crane roller rockers and a Holley 750 double-pumper. He also added a built TH350 with an Eaton spool and 4.10:1 Richmond gears. Wheels are Eagle 058 Series, 15x7 on P205/60R15s up front and 15x10 on P295/50R15s out back.

It didn't take much to get Willie to fall in love with the second-gen. At age 15 he took his first ride in his brother's '80 Z28 and has been hooked ever since. It was that day he vowed to purchase one for himself, and that promise was fulfilled in 2002. Rather than farming out the work, he and his buddy handled the bodywork and even freshened up the small-block 350ci. Rollers of choice is a set of P245/45R18s on a set of Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dogs.
