It started out as a $500 find; however, as Chris Sanders began to dig into the car it quickly turned into a complete teardown and full restoration project. Two years later, nearly every bolt and body panel, including the trunk lid and firewall had to be replaced. The 383ci small-block stroker between the fenderwells features Pro Topline aluminum heads, Crane roller rockers, and Lunati camshaft and lifters. Power is estimated at around 425 hp. Completing the drivetrain is a Tremec five-speed that's connected to a beefy 12-bolt with 3.73:1 cogs and Yukon axles. Brakes are stock along with the suspension, but Chris added all-new polyurethane bushings. Wheels are 18/20 Coy C5's front/rear.
