Back in 1970, Seed Morton was running amok in his drag-only '62 Chevy II. More recently, he came upon his latest acquisition. At its heart sits a 388ci small-block with an Eagle crankshaft, 6-inch Scat rods, and 11.6:1-compression JE pistons. The small-block is fed by a 750-cfm Quick Fuel Technology carb, while the MSD ignition system lights the fire. A TH350 handles shifts with a 4,200-stall converter. More importantly, Seed can still hit up local cruises and does so at every given opportunity.
