Not a lot of us can have a numbers-matching, factory correct Chevelle SS. Thankfully, aftermarket companies are abundant and if you've got the itch, anything is possible. Martin filled the engine bay of his Chevelle with the standard-a 454 big-block and fitted the top with an 850-cfm double-pumper from Holley. For shifting, Rubio relies on a built Turbo 400 transmission with a shift kit. All that power is sent out back to a 3.73:1 gearset that lays twin stripes.
