Unable to withstand the original "Crossfire" engine, Clint pulled it in favor of a bigger inched 383. His stroked engine now swings forged internals and a hydraulic cam and lifters. For the intake, Goolsbay relies on an RPM Air-Gap with a Holley 750 double-pumper carburetor. A beefed-up 700-R4 backs up a 3,500-stall converter that sends all that twist to a set of 3.73:1 gears. Goolsbay's combo is good for high 11s at the track.
