‘70 Nova

Originally purchased with a small-block, Clayton Chapman couldn’t resist pulling it out in favor of a more powerful 496ci big-block. Up top, the engine consists of Dart Pro 1 cylinder heads and a QFT 1050-cfm carburetor. Next, Clayton added a high-stall converter, a Powerglide transmission with a transbrake, and a 9-inch rearend. All said and done, he has a potent ride that’s also a perfect street cruiser.
