Since then, it’s gone through a complete frame-off restoration, swapping out the original 396 ci for a low-compression 454 ci with forged internals and a Weiand 8-71 supercharger that forces 13 psi of boost. The rest of the drivetrain includes a Turbo 400 and a narrowed 12-bolt rearend. For cruising duties, he relies on the big and skinny combo on Centerline Convo Pros.
