1970 Chevrolet Chevelle - Rides

Dubbed the “JezaVelle”, Chris and Pam Perry’s ’70 Chevelle features a 10.25:1 compression 489ci big-block with a complete Eagle rotating assembly, topped off with a pair of Brodix heads and intake. At the heart of the mill is a COMP solid roller while a Holley 950 HP carb fuels the beast. Transferring the power is a manually shifted Turbo 400 trans with a 4,200-stall converter, which leads into a 12-bolt rearend with 4.11 gears. Their best eighth-mile to date is a 7.01; it rides on Centerline Retro wheels with a set of 325/50-15 Mickey Thompsons at the rear.
