’86 Monte Carlo SS
Chris West got into his Monte Carlo nearly four years ago. Since then, he swapped out the 305ci for a ZZ383
crate engine, a built Turbo 400 transmission with a 3,200-stall converter, including an 8.5-inch rearend with 3.42:1
gears. When it came to the suspension, everything’s been replaced with all-new hardware and PST urethane
bushings; we also dig the 2-inch drop, which gives it a perfect stance!
