Header Bolt-On Tricks
There are paper gaskets and specially coated steel-core ones. Paper is less expensive but, in the long run, a quality coated gasket is the better deal. The same goes for the collector flange gasket; order the good stuff when ordering the headers. Mr. Gasket offers its Grafoil Core gaskets, which claim to withstand 1,000-degree temperatures.
