Float-bowl and metering-block gaskets sometimes stick. We use a thin gasket scraper placed between the metering block and the float bowl and then hit it with a hammer to release the gasket. Remove the primary and secondary float bowls, metering blocks, and gaskets from the main body of the carburetor. It’s a good idea to put all the parts in a plastic or metal bin so nothing gets lost or rolls off the bench. View Related Article
