Swapping valvesprings is an easy job that can be done in your driveway with a few special tools. You’ll need an air compressor, hand tools, a valvespring compressor, an adapter to plumb compressed air into the cylinder, and a small pencil magnet. We used part of a compression gauge to plumb air into each cylinder. The air will prevent the valves from dropping down into the cylinder when you remove the retainer.
