After applying gasket sealant to both surfaces, carefully place the gaskets on each head and align the ports and bolt holes. Install intake gaskets like these Fel-Pro pieces with the beaded sides facing up. At the front and rear of the intake manifold, a 1/4-inch bead of RTV can be used in place of end seals.
