Richard Small had his son, Mike, drive his bitchin’ ’72 Chevelle down from northern California with its 450hp/502ci Rat motor. Driver Scott Gillman jumped inside, stabbed the throttle, steered straight to a no-drama 13.04/107.11-mph blast, and generated some very respectable 378-foot braking numbers.
