This girdle will support up to 1,500 hp and can take a 4.000-inch-stroke crank without any modification. It's made of aircraft-quality 304 cold-rolled stainless steel and can withstand 185,000 psi. When used with the factory LSX windage tray, it can even increase horsepower by eliminating shear stress to the block and cutting back on oil chop. Not only will this piece simply bolt in with your stock oil pan and save you from scattering your rotating assembly--it's affordable.

Shifter Kit
Original Parts Group has reproduced the exact shifter assembly for console-mounted automatics found in '64-65 and '66-67 Chevelles and El Caminos. They're identical to the factory pieces so they'll fit in the stock locations. The shifter kit comes completely assembled with a steel base (case hardened), shift handles, a shift arm and lever, rubber grommets, and clips. For cable-operated transmissions, a conversion kit can be ordered separately.
