0605Ch 29 Fuel Level Sender Z
1968 Chevy Camaro Fluid Lines - Country Honk Revival, Part 7
The fuel level sender comes with easy-to-follow instructions for setting the level of the float in the tank. Before installing the float assembly in the tank, use an ohm meter to check for proper resistance from the float and sending unit. For this hookup, and the Auto Meter gauge, the resistance should read 0 ohms at the empty-float position and 90 ohms at full-float. Simply rotate the float from its lowest position to its highest mark while the ohm meter is hooked to ground and the output wire. Heed our warning; do this now or you will discover a faulty unit when you run out of gas. View Related Article
