The old (right) and new (left) distributors are almost identical. What sets them apart is Davis' knack for creating custom-calibrated units for your particular application. Even light throttle ping is eliminated by using DUI's special vacuum advances, making the units virtually maintenance-free. We got our cap in black, but they also come in blue, red, yellow, and clear. Ours also came with solid brass terminals and the DUI coil and Dyna-Module.
