On the back of the box is a printed sticker with a wiring guide, so no matter how far away the instructions are, you can still double-check your wiring.

Another great addition to the family is MSD’s Blaster 2 coil. It’s a good way to make sure the rest of your components can take advantage of the Digital 6AL’s power.

While these boxes can be used with just about any existing distributor or trigger, MSD’s Pro Billet distributor is a nice addition to the system. It features a CNC-machined billet housing, magnetic pickup, and extremely adjustable advance mechanism with the option to lock it out completely.

To help make upgrades a snap, every wire that leaves the box is gathered in a single 12-point connector.

Make sure your current spark plug wires are not solid cored, within their resistance specifications, and that they aren’t cracked or burnt. If they don’t meet their expectations, give them the boot for a fresh set of wires.

Every unit is weatherproof and can be installed just about anywhere. In this example, we placed ours in a gutted glovebox, making it a convenient spot to place the MSD tachometer adapter for use with the factory tach and an rpm-activated switch for the shift light. CHP
