With the pistons installed we were able to spin the assembly and get an idea how much of our piston skirts would be poking out at bottom dead center. As you can see the piston does protrude a bit, but it’s not a lot considering the 4.125-inch stroke. Wiseco designed these slugs to resist rocking at BDC, and the extra length of the Darton sleeves helps as well. View Related Article
