We throttled up the 454 and were rewarded with a best pull of 650 hp at 6,200 rpm and 612 lb-ft of torque at 4,600 rpm on 91 octane. The torque output was great across the entire powerband with 540 pounds at 3,500 rpm and 516 pounds 6,500 rpm. Torque like that is what makes a street car fun to blast around town.
