Studio Auto Body's Jose Garcia uses fiberglass sanding discs, since they don't flex. As much as possible, the sanding disc should be kept flat; using the edge creates deeper scratches. Jose also advised us not to stay in one place for too long; the heat created can actually warp the body surface.
