We Pity the Fool
In the April '06 issue of CHP there is an article called "For a Few Ponies More." On page 40 it says, "A great philosopher once said, 'I love it when a plan comes together.'" A CHP license plate was offered to the first person to write in and identify this "sage." Anyways, the quote, "I love it when a plan comes together," is by John "Hannibal" Smith of The A-Team. Let me know if I was first.

You were indeed the first, Ken, and your plate is on the way. Were you actually reading CHP at seven in the a.m., or do you just get up that early to do your e-mailing? Either way, good going. Readers Ron Fee and Matt Crenshaw are also getting plates for answering within hours of early-riser Lulich. Thanks to all who took part in our impromptu contest, and be on the lookout for more-you never know when the '80s trivia bug will strike us again.
We Wouldn't Steer You Wrong
I have been reading your rag for a while now. I am restoring a '66 Nova and the steering box is leaking fluid. I would like to know if anyone makes a new box for my car, but with a better ratio. Several companies I've called have said they have one-but after checking, they only have stuff for '68-and-later Novas.

We're happy to help out, Brian. Flaming River Industries at 800 Poertner Dr., Berea, OH 44017; (800) 648-802; or www.flamingriver.com has bolt-in quick-ratio steering boxes for '62-66 Novas. These brand-new manual units take only 3 1/2 turns to go lock-to-lock. Let us know how things turn out.
Hot News Flash
Your April '06 issue had a page about Granatelli's "Big G Tuner" for GM Duramax diesel trucks ("Diesel Power House"). I'm interested in this unit but can find nothing more about it on either yours or Ganatelli's Web site. How can I get more info and prices on this unit?

We're happy to help you as well, Russ. The full article on Granatelli's Big G Tuner, which includes dyno numbers, is currently on our Web site, www.chevyhiperformance.com. You can also find plenty of info on Granatelli's Web site, www.granatellimotorsports.com. Click the "Free Catalog" button; the Big G Tuner is on page 11 of GMS' 2006 catalog. As for price info, drop an e-mail to the Granatelli crew through the site, give them a call at (805) 486-6644, or write them the tried-and-true way at Granatelli Motor Sports, 1000 Yarnell Pl., Oxnard, CA 93033.
Still Diggin' The SS
I just read "Supercharged Silverado SS, Part 5," in your March '06 issue. I need Parts 1 through 4. What issues were these articles in, and how can I get them?
