The mighty Enduro Fuel Pump from Barry Grant is a continuous-duty-style electric fuel pump and incorporates an ultra-fine 8-micron fuel filter. This pump is designed for carbureted applications developing power levels up to 750 hp and flows 375 lb/hr at 18 psi. With its preset nonadjustable bypass, it doesn't necessarily require a return line to the fuel tank if the fuel supply is constant. The heat sink on the right helps reduce fuel temperatures and is available for operation in very hot areas where slow speeds may be encountered.

Fittings with gentle turns help minimize flow restrictions in the fuel system. With that said, stay away from 90-degree turns if at all possible. A typical 90-degree fitting installed in a fuel system is generally equivalent to adding another 10 feet of fuel line. It's better to use a 45-degree fitting, like the one shown here, to negotiate all turns.

The extra-fine 40-micron filter's element ensures clean, contaminant-free petrol. Basically, it mounts between the tank and the external fuel pump and protects the entire system. We should mention this filter is strictly for use with conventional fuel only. Dual 3/8-inch NPT inlets and outlets allow a single filter to cover two pumps, up to 300 gph.

On the more extreme side, this 16-gallon fuel cell supplies fuel through two Holley blue pumps, supporting this Camaro's nitrous-fed B&M 420 Mega-blown 355 small-block with dual Holley carbs.

Mallory's electric fuel pump (PN 4110) delivers 90 gph at 6 psi and uses 3/8-inch NPT thread size.

To provide the right amount of current to your electric fuel pump, you'll need the right stuff. Aeromotive includes two lengths of 10-gauge wire, a relay, a power junction block, and connectors--ideally, all connectors should be soldered.
