Fittings with gentle turns help minimize flow restrictions in the fuel system. With that said, stay away from 90-degree turns if at all possible. A typical 90-degree fitting installed in a fuel system is generally equivalent to adding another 10 feet of fuel line. It's better to use a 45-degree fitting, like the one shown here, to negotiate all turns. View Related Article
