Second-Gen Camaro Mini-Tub Kit
You've got a hot Gen II Camaro going together, but you need room for bigger rear tires. Just like that, Detroit Speed & Engineering has what you need with its new Mini-Tub Kits for '70-81 F-bodies. These kits start with a set of DSE's 18-gauge steel Deep Tubs, which allow clearance for ultrawide 335mm rubber while retaining a stock wheel-tub appearance. The Mini-Tub kit is created by adding new spring pockets, a rear upper shock crossmember, offset shackles, leaf-spring pads, U-bolts, lower shock plates, a rear leaf Delrin bushing kit, and steel framerail fill panels. Front Delrin leaf-spring bushings are also available. DSE also includes detailed instructions (on paper and DVD) and all required templates. And if that's not enough for you, the kit can also be ordered with 2- or 3-inch-drop leaf springs and mini-tub shocks. DSE Mini-Tub kits and Deep Tubs are also available for first-gen Camaros and '68-74 Novas.

Installing an aftermarket throttle body in place of a restrictive stock item has long been an easy performance upgrade. Summit Racing Equipment is looking to make the swap easy on the wallet as well with its Street & Strip Throttle Bodies for '85-92 Camaros and '92-96 Corvettes. Marketed by Summit as "a value-priced alternative," Street & Strip Throttle Bodies feature a die-cast aluminum body and hand-fitted butterflies. They also have duplicate linkages, allowing for interchangeability among model years. Summit Racing Equipment currently offers these dual-bore throttle bodies in 52- and 58mm sizes and in natural and polished finishes.
