Badman Induction System
This changes everything," says Barry Grant of its new BadMan induction system, created as part of the Triple-D induction lineup. That remains to be seen, but one thing is certain-the BadMan takes an innovative and novel approach to carburetor design. Put simply, this new mixer is an inline four-barrel carburetor. The biggest advantage to this configuration, according to BGI, is improved fuel distribution. With a traditional carb, the cylinders located directly under the carb invariably get more air/fuel mixture than those at the ends. Better distribution leads to a host of benefits: reduced fuel consumption, improved low-speed idle and part-throttle drivability, and most importantly, the potential to make more power. According to BGI, all adjustable features of the Demon Inline Carb are easily accessible. These features include interchangeable venturi sleeves, allowing airflow ratings from 500 to more than 1,000 cfm. Each system includes a Demon Inline Carburetor and a Triple-D Aero-Ram intake manifold, which is designed with long, equal-length runners to enhance fuel distribution-and create "the lowest possible" hood height.

Interestingly, when the plenum volume of a small-block Chevy engine was increased during initial dynamometer tests, the BadMan immediately made even more power. -Barry Grant

Tubular front control arms for A- and F-bodies
Hotrods to Hell is known for its Center Drive Truckarm rear-suspension setups, but HTH is also working the front end, as evidenced by its new tubular control arms for '64-72 A-bodies and '67-69 F-bodies. HTH's lower arms feature rectangular steel tube for strength, light weight, and limited flex. These arms move the spring centerline 1 inch closer to the ball-joint centerline for improved spring track and wheel rate, increased roll stability, and overall improved handling. HTH has A-body arms to work with both F- and B-body spindle conversions, as well as the stock pieces. The F-body arms promise "dramatically" improved handling without the need for a subframe swap.

Stainless Steel Swivel Thermostat HousingConsider the lowly thermostat housing. There's nothin' to it, right? Sure, until you end up with one that doesn't fit your particular engine configuration. Performance Stainless Steel's new 15-degree swivel thermostat is designed to minimize clearance issues and look good doing it. CNC-machined from 304 stainless steel, these housings have an ultralow-profile design, and a 360-degree swivel feature allows exact radiator hose positioning. Performance Stainless Steel's Swivel Thermostat Housings also feature a double O-ring design to ensure a positive seal. They come polished (shown) or in a natural finish for $20 less.
