Returning to the lower half of our subject, Murphy makes a couple of changes to make fuel levels in the Q-jet's float bowl stay consistent. The stock, 0.110-inch needle seat gets replaced with a 0.135-inch slot- or window-style seat; both features lend themselves to improved fuel flow.
