As we've noted elsewhere, there's really no substitute for an air/fuel meter when tuning a carbureted supercharged setup. "We used to read the plugs, and then add timing until it rattled," reminisces Endress. Point taken, but it's hard to beat being able to see the air/fuel curve. The top curve is with the 3.12-inch pulley and unchanged jetting. It runs into the high 11s, which is too lean for this type of application.
