Because nitrous and fuel can be fed directly into each cylinder, direct-port injection provides the biggest nitrous power gains and the utmost in adjustability. The number of direct-port nozzle variations is mind-boggling, but whatever the design specifics, the goal is the same: optimum atomization of the fuel and nitrous mixture as it enters the intake runner.
