The first step was to clean the gasket surface of the manifold, as the Dykem (metal dye) requires an oil-free surface to bond with. We liberally applied the Dykem with a brush around all the ports. Heed our warning and be sure to wear scrubs you don't care for, because this stuff can (read: will) permanently stain all clothing it comes into contact with. View Related Article
