Once you've removed the valve covers and disabled the ignition, the next thing to do is to identify which rocker is which. The front rocker on any small-block is an exhaust rocker, not an intake. The easiest way to tell exhaust from intake is to line up the rocker with either an intake or exhaust port. View Related Article
