The cam was driven by Crane's premium three-piece timing set, which features multiple keyways on the crank gear to set the cam's installed centerline. We degreed ours in at 106 degrees intake centerline. The stock timing cover was biffed in favor of a Comp three-piece unit. This billet ring bolts to the block to accept the front oil-pan seal, so there's no need to disturb the seal to get to the cam. View Related Article
