Remove all of the bowl screws, and keep a close eye on the washers (in some cases, they stick to the bowl, come off with the screws, or tear). New washers aren't included in the kit, so don't lose or damage the originals. To remove the bowl without damage, pry the bowl, not the metering plate, and be very careful when removing it because the gaskets can stick. Forcing a screwdriver tip between the bowl and the metering block risks damaging the sealing surfaces. View Related Article
