Ryan created the bracket to mount the slave to the bellhousing. To set the proper throwout fork travel, the ball stud is adjusted so that there is a 1/8" gap between the throwout bearing and pressure plate fingers when the slave cylinder shaft is fully retracted. The fork should point slightly forward toward the engine. Once the system has been filled and bled, the slave cylinder piston should extend all the way, traveling 7/8" to fully disengage the clutch.
