Here’s a trick GM part that helps exhaust routing on 2WD V-8 swaps and is a must for 4x4 swaps. This offset oil filter adapter was used on ’92-’96 Corvette LT1 engines and is still available from GM today. It screws directly to the factory filter mount on any small-block and fits a 4.3L V-6 oil filter very tight against the oil pan. Also note the section of pipe left attached to the Camaro exhaust manifold pulled from the scrap yard. This is what the muffler shop will weld the new exhaust to.
