Get Down
One popular method for dropping the front end in street machines comes via the sport-truck industry. A dropped spindle can lower the front end of your car approximately 2 inches without sacrificing the stock ride qualities you may have come to love. A dropped spindle places the wheel and tire two inches higher in the wheel well. The spindle on the right is for a drum-braked front end, and the 2-inch dropped spindle on the left is available from Superior Spindles. It must be upgraded with 10-inch discs and a new master cylinder and brake booster. View Related Article
