This picture clearly demonstrates the difference between a stock spindle and a dropped spindle. In the rear is a Superior Spindles 2-inch dropped spindle. The spindle’s axle is physically moved 2 inches higher in the forging than on a stock piece. A dropped spindle can be used in conjunction with a dropped coil spring or with a factory coil spring for a good ride condition.
