To remove the coil spring, simply jack the car. Loosen but do not remove the lower ball-joint nut. Remove the sway-bar end-link bushings and place a floor jack up under the lower control arm. With a heavy hammer, gently rap on the lower ball joint. This should force it loose from the spindle. View Related Article
