The T56 requires the use of a “pull-off” clutch where the hydraulic clutch mechanism pulls the release bearing to release the pressure plate load on the clutch. Two current options are a complete factory setup or a Centerforce clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel assembly as shown here. When using an older, two-piece rear main seal engine, you must use a custom Centerforce flywheel. McLead Industries also offers a flywheel for this swap. View Related Article
