While EFI engines look intimidating from a wiring standpoint, they are actually fairly simple. This illustration reveals that only 15 separate connections are required to completely wire an ACCEL/DFI stand-alone EFI system. All the sensor connectors have their own dedicated connection so that the system cant be improperly connected. Besides the sensors, you need connections for the fuel pump relay, ground, battery positive, starter solenoid, and tach pickup, along with a switched 12-volt connection. Thats it!.
